Hurricane Fence History and Team
We opened our first office in Richmond’s Fulton Hill neighborhood in 1994. Owners John Lowndes and Dennis Sulser head up the organization from Richmond Virginia. We moved into our current Dinneen Street location in 1998. In 2008 we laboriously renovated an existing structure at this site thereby creating a more attractive workspace for our staff and clients. Vice-president Todd Jones directs the Norfolk office, which opened in 1998 to allow an up-close command of our naval base work. And we are very proud of our recently opened office in Raleigh North Carolina, which is headed up by Ben Olsen. Crews are dispatched daily from all of our current locations.
The strength of our employees is our greatest asset. Charlie Brenneman joined us in 1995 and is currently general labor superintendent in Richmond. Allen Hogge came on board in 1997 as Norfolk’s general labor superintendent. As of 2010, Mike Kelly is adding energy to the team by leading our sucessful residential division and supervising the operator division. Our pride filled gate operator and access control division was started in 1995. This division employs four fulltime technicians and services both of our office locations. Luke Drylie also fills an important role in Norfolk as a commercial and industrial estimator.
Our office team is lead by Tina Parrish. Our broad administrative support team does a great job of handling contracts, billing, and purchasing. They continue to demonstrate exemplary customer service for our offices.
