In 1994, two young fence professionals opened a small start-up in the Fulton Hill neighborhood of Richmond, VA. Over 25 years later, Hurricane Fence has built a reputation as one of the industry’s most trusted and experienced fence and perimeter security providers. That trust has allowed us to contribute to many groundbreaking projects all over the country.

Hurricane Fence Company is a family-owned, full-service fencing and perimeter security contractor headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. With offices in Portsmouth, Raleigh, and Northern Virginia, we serve residential homeowners, commercial property managers, and large-scale industrial clients across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
Our team includes dedicated project managers, skilled installation crews, and a specialized Gate Operator & Access Control Division, one of the only fence companies in Virginia with that level of in-house expertise. We work closely with homeowners, general contractors, civil engineers, and government agencies to deliver results that stand the test of time.
